Skylar Projects is a woman-owned business in Cape Town and has been in operation since 2005. Owner, Nikki Jacobs, started her career as a lecturer but her passion for people to improve their skills, knowledge and personal growth, led her to start a business in training and development. Nikki is also a board member for She-Chem, a youth and women based NPO situated in Hanover Park.

In 2016, her husband Jonathan Jacobs, who has an extensive career background in forensic auditing, project management and strategic management, joined her business. Over the past 10 years, Jonathan has been deeply entrenched in the entrepreneurial space and has served on various boards such as Cape Chamber of Commerce, Cape Town Tourism, Society for the Blind and Centre for Entrepreneurship.
